HCF Scholars Program

Application Deadline: March 15th, 2009

Amount of Each Scholarship: $500-$5,000

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be Hispanic or of Hispanic descent
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico
Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year
Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student for the upcoming academic year 2009-2010
Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Student must demonstrate financial need

Required Documents:

Official transcript - Postmarked by March 15th
Proof of family income - Postmarked by March 15th
Proof of citizenship status - Postmarked by March 15th
Essay - Submitted online by March 15th
Letter of Recommendation - Submitted online by March 15th
Resume - Submitted online by March 15th
Financial Aid verification (if chosen as semi finalist only) - Submitted online by your financial aid counselor by June 30th
