Ford Mi Fuerza Program

The Ford Motor Company Fund's Mi Fuerza Program supports Hispanic undergraduate students studying any discipline nationwide.

Application Deadline: April 15, 2008

Amount of Each Scholarship: $500-$5,000

Eligibility Criteria:*

  • Must be Hispanic or of Hispanic descent
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Must be studying at an accredited college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the 2008-2009 academic year
  • Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student for the 2008-2009 academic year
  • Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Student must demonstrate financial need

Required Documents:

  • Official transcript - Postmarked by April 15th
  • Proof of family income - Postmarked by April 15th
  • Proof of citizenship status - Postmarked by April 15th
  • Essay - Submitted online by April 15th
  • Letter of Recommendation - Submitted online by April 15th
  • Resume - Submitted online by April 15th
  • Financial Aid verification (if chosen as semi finalist only) - Submitted online by June 30th
