Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program

Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program offers funds to students who are juniors or seniors in college pursuing a bachelors degree in nursing. Students who are selected will receive a scholarship for $8,000 each year they attend nursing school. Based on availability, C2C Scholars also have the possibility of interning at a Kaiser Permanente facility.
Application Deadline: February 23rd, 2010
Individual Awards: $8,000
Eligibility Criteria:
•Must be of Hispanic background
•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, residing in Northern California
•Must be studying at an accredited university in Northern California.
•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undegraduate student for the upcoming academic year.
•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
•Must demonstrate financial need
•Must be a rising junior or senior in college pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing for the upcoming academic year
Required Documents:
•Official transcript - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Proof of family income - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Proof of citizenship status - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Essay - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Letter of Recommendation - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Resume - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Financial Aid verification (if chosen as semi finalist only) - Submitted online by your financial aid counselor in May
