Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program

Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program offers funds to students who are juniors or seniors in college pursuing a bachelors degree in nursing.
Students who are selected will receive a scholarship for $8,000 each year they attend nursing school.
Based on availability, C2C Scholars also have the possibility of interning at a Kaiser Permanente facility.
Application Deadline: March 15th, 2009
Individual Awards: $8,000
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be of Hispanic background
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, residing in Northern California
- Must be studying full-time in the United States or Puerto Rico
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Must be a rising junior or senior in college pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing for the 2009-2010 academic year
Required Documents:
- Official transcript - Postmarked by March 15th
- Proof of family income - Postmarked by March 15th
- Proof of citizenship status - Postmarked by March 15th
- Essay - Submitted online by March 15th
- Letter of Recommendation - Submitted online by March 15th
- Resume - Submitted online by March 15th
- Financial Aid verification (if chosen as semi finalist only) - Submitted online by your financial aid counselor by June 30th
