Verizon Scholarship Program

 


Apply to the Verizon Scholarship Program through either the Business or STEM Majors applications.

Application Deadline: February 23, 2010
Individual Awards: $500-$5,000

Eligibility Criteria:
•Must be of Hispanic background.
•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico.
•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year.
•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student for the upcoming academic year.
•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
•Must demonstrate financial need.
•Must be pursuing a degree in business administration, finance, accounting, computer science, and computer engineering or information technology.

Required Documents:
•Official transcript - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Proof of family income - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Proof of citizenship status - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Essay - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Letter of Recommendation - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Resume - Submitted online by February 23rd
