Ford Blue Oval Scholarship Program

Application Deadline: February 16th, 2010
Amount of Each Scholarship: $2,000

Eligibility:
•Must be of Hispanic background.
•Must have a permanent address in the Phoenix, Arizona, Miami, FL, Chicago, IL, Puerto Rico, or San Antonio, TX.
•Must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident.
•Must be accepted or plan to enroll in a college, university or technical school in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year.
•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student for the upcoming academic year.
•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
•Must demonstrate financial need.

Required Documents:
•Official transcript - Postmarked by February 16th
•Proof of family income - Postmarked by February 16th
•Proof of citizenship status - Postmarked by February 16th
•Essay - Submitted online by February 16th
•Letter of Recommendation - Submitted online by February 16th
•Resume - Submitted online by February 16th
•Financial Aid verification (if chosen as semi finalist only) - Submitted online in June

*Preference given to students studying business and STEM and previous Ford PAS and Henry Ford Academy students.
