Kaiser Permanente College for the Mid-Atlantic States offers funds to students who are pursuing a bachelors degree in nursing.
Application Deadline: February 23rd, 2010
Individual Awards: $500-5,000
Eligibility Criteria:
•Must be of Hispanic background
•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, residing in a mid-Atlantic state (Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvannia, Washington, DC,Virgina)
•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year.
•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undegraduate student for the upcoming academic year.
•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
•Must demonstrate financial need
•Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing for the 2010-2011 academic year

•Official transcript - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Proof of family income - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Proof of citizenship status - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Essay - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Letter of Recommendation - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Resume - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Financial Aid verification (if chosen as semi finalist only) - Submitted online by your financial aid counselor in May
