Description of Documents

Uploading Transcripts

Do:
• Upload a copy of your official or unofficial transcript
• Be sure it includes your full name, the name of your school, and your cumulative GPA
• Upload only the most up-to-date version of your transcript from your most recent school
• Black out your social security number if it appears

Don’t:
• Copy and paste an online version of your course info or an incomplete transcript
• Exclude your name or the name of your school
• Send an out-of-date transcript

Proof of Household Income - Please upload one of the following:

• Student Aid Report (SAR) - If you applied for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) you will receive a SAR. Please upload a copy of ALL pages of the 2010-2011 or 2011-2012 SAR.         

• Parent's Income Tax Return - Upload your parents' income tax return from 2009 or 2010 reflecting annual gross adjusted income and showing you as a dependent.

(Independent students allowed under FAFSA definition only).

W2 Forms are NOT acceptable documents.

Proof of U.S. Citizenship/Eligible Residency - please upload one of the following:

• Student Aid Report (SAR) from FAFSA

• Copy of U.S. birth certificate

• Copy of U.S. passport

• Copy of naturalization certificate

• Copy of alien identification card

• If you do not have one of the above types of identification, upload proof of having graduted from a high school in the United States after having attended for at least three years.
