Ford Blue Oval Scholars Program

 

Apply to the Ford Blue Oval through either the Business Majors, STEM Majors, Other Majors, Healthcare Majors, Hospitality Majors, or the Scholarship for Puerto Rican Students applications.

Application Deadline: February 23rd, 2010
Amount of Each Scholarship: $500-$5,000

Eligibility:
•Must be of Hispanic background.
•Must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico.
•Must be a rising or current undergradute student, or pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at an accrediated college or university.
•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time for the upcoming academic year.
•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
•Must demonstrate financial need.

Required Documents:
•Official transcript - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Proof of family income - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Proof of citizenship status - Postmarked by February 23rd
•Essay - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Letter of Recommendation - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Resume - Submitted online by February 23rd
•Financial Aid verification (if chosen as semi finalist only) - Submitted online in May

*Preference will be given to Ford PAS and Henry Ford Academy students, and alumni of these programs. Students who participate in the Ford PAS Program must indicate the following in order to verify participation: Ford PAS high school, teacher, and module.
