A Note about E-mail:  Make sure to add the address "autoemail at hispanicfund.org" to your contacts or safe list so that important messages regarding your application do not get caught in your junk or SPAM filter.  Also note that "autoemail at hispanicfund.org" is only used to send automated messages regarding your account, and therefore we will not view or respond to messages sent to that address.


Description of Documents

If you have multiple scholarship applications you only have to send one copy of each document.


Official Transcript
• Must come in a sealed envelope or have a school seal or official signature.   
• Transcripts must have name, social security number, and name of the institution.
• Transcripts MUST include your cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. If your transcript does not show a cumulative GPA, request that a school official confirm this information on school letterhead with his or her signature.

Proof of Citizenship
• If you applied for financial aid (FAFSA) you will receive a SAR. Please mail a copy of ALL pages of this year's or last year's Student Aid   Report                                                                                                                                 Or mail us a copy of ONE of the following documents…
• Copy of birth certificate, passport, naturalization certificate, certificate of Indian blood, or certificate of tribal affiliation
• U.S. permanent residency (copy of your alien identification card).


Proof of Household Income
• You can mail in a Copy of your SAR (Student Aid Report from FAFSA)
• Mail in your Parent's Income Tax return from this year or last year reflecting annual gross adjusted income and showing you as a dependent (Independent students allowed under FAFSA definition only).
W2 Forms are NOT acceptable documents.
