Other Majors Application

Application Deadline: March 1, 2011
Amount of Each Scholarship: $500-$5,000

Eligibility Criteria:
• Be of Hispanic background
• Maintain a 3.0 Grade Point Average (on a 4.0 scale)
• Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have graduated from high school in the U.S. after attending at least 3 years (by June 2011)
 • Reside in the U.S. or Puerto Rico
• Plan to enroll in a fulltime undergraduate program for the 2011-2012 academic year at an accredited college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.
• Demonstrate financial need
•Must be studying a major that falls under the Other Majors Application

Required Documents:
•Official transcript- Postmarked by March 1
•Proof of family income- Postmarked by March 1
•Proof of citizenship/residency status- Postmarked by March 1
•Essay- Submitted online by March 1
•Letter of Recommendation- Submitted online by March 1
•Resume- Submitted online by March 1
•Financial Aid verification (if chosen as semi-finalist only)- Submitted online by your financial aid counselor in May
